breaded shrimp!

Ebi = shrimp. Furai = fried.

Just wanted you to get a glimpse of one our tasty dinners since I came back from Canada. This Japanese favorite is one of our favorites, and bound to be cooked up if we chance upon some good-looking shrimp.

 

Best eaten with hot steaming Japanese rice and some veggies (some finely sliced cabbage with lemon and Japanese mayonnaise, or maybe some tempura veggies).

Here, we had some tempura eggplant and sweet potato. Drizzle shrimp with lemon if you like.
