A tiny resto, pretty unobstrusive. And I love the place for it, as well as the wonderful food. I would love to be Japanese, if only for the delicious food they serve up.

Now as I write, I am inwardly craving their sesame soup. Nice and filling, peanutty and with veggies. And their green tea ice cream with mochi balls. I am seriously addicted.

Their namesake – the gyozas are just perfect – take your pick from original, garlic, chili (yum yum!)… perfect gyoza sauce!

Also have fallen in love with their agedashi tofu - nice and crisp outside; warm soft and steaming inside. And just the right hint of grated radish on top.

Learned that the place is a Japanese franchise, hence the authenticity of most their dishes. Encountered many regulars on many occasions. Always seems to be one or two Japanese lurking around too.

On the average, we spend under 500 pesos for a heavenly meal. What a steal.
